Jalandhar: One person died, three injured in a road accident near Jalandhar-Amritsar Highway
One person died and three others are injured in a road accident near Jalandhar-Amritsar Highway, on Tuesday. As per reports, the Innova car carrying three people and a driver rammed into the container parked near CRPF Camp. The collision was so impactful that the person sitting on front seat died on the spot, while the other three including driver got several injuries. The Innova car was traveling to Amritsar from Jalandhar. The locals rushed to the spot and informed the Kartarpur police, who arrived the spot.
The locals took the injured to the hospital via Ambulance, while police after reaching started the further investigation. The identification of the deceased and the injured is yet to be ascertained, while, Kartarpur police are up to the investigation. The incident took place at around 6 AM.

Punjab has called for the Bandh amid the demolition of Sri Guru Ravidas Temple in Tughlakabad, in Delhi. The demolition led to the outrage of Ravidas Community, who started staging the protest. Meanwhile, the school in Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Gurdaspur are shut. Also, major chaos has taken place in Jalandhar, where the number of people is gathered to stage protest, blocking the roads.
