Jammu and Kashmir: Two truck drivers shot dead by terrorists in Shopian

Terrorists struck for the third time in 10 days on Thursday at Shopian district of South Kashmir, killing two men and injuring another. Two non-Kashmiri truck drivers ferrying apples were killed in the shootout. A senior official said the two truck drivers entered the interior areas without informing security forces. Their bodies were recovered and the injured person was rushed to a hospital in Srinagar. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1187611296046313472 Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbagh Singh said terrorists fired at trucks near Chittargam in Shopian and injured three drivers. As per the report, they stopped the three trucks, which had number plates of Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab and sprayed bullets at the drivers, who tried to escape but failed. After this, the militants torched the trucks. The injured has been identified as Jeevan from Hoshiarpur in Punjab and another deceased is yet to be identified.
