JeM threatens to target Punjab, Rajasthan railway stations; Security tightened
Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) on Thursday threatened to target Punjab and Rajasthan railway stations. JeM’s area commander Masoor Ahmed sent a letter to Punjab Railway Board manager. Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) were alerted as soon as the Punjab Railway Board manager received the letter. A joint search operation has been launched by GRP and RPF teams.

In a joint operation, the teams search for any suspicious elements at the railway stations. Luggage of every commuter was thoroughly checked. Nothing major has been found yet.

The threat from JeM comes two months after the terror outfit targeted a CRPF convoy in South Kashmir's Pulwama, killing 40 CRPF personnel.
