UP on High Alert: LeT letter threatens to blow up temples, railway stations Security at major railway stations and religious places has been increased by the Uttar Pradesh police after a letter written by a Pakistani terrorist warned of attacks. The letter was sent on June 1 by Maulana Ambu Sheikh, the self-styled area commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba. It is the same group that was blamed for carrying out the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Religious places like the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi and Krishna Janmbhoomi in Mathura could be targeted between June 8 and 10, the police warned.
