With a team of over 100 dedicated female volunteers, Codess.cafe offers a pro-bono platform that includes coding practice, resume critiques, interview preparation, and job referrals.
The mission of Codess.cafe is clear and impactful: it aims to narrow the gender gap in technology by supporting women engineers on their path to success. Despite facing financial constraints and overcoming challenges such as the Covid-19 pandemic, the organisation has continued to uplift women not only in India, but also beyond its borders.
One of the measurable successes of Codess.cafe is its significant impact on the lives of women. Through its programmes, over a thousand women have realised their dreams by securing high-paying positions at renowned tech companies, with an annual CTC of over 3 million (INR), including roles at industry giants such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft and others.
What distinguishes Codess.cafe is its determination to reach every corner of India. In just three years since its inception, the programme has expanded its presence to all 28 states in the country, ensuring that women everywhere have access to quality coding education and career support.
On the other hand, Codess.cafe's mission also aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of empowering women economically to drive national growth, contributing to India's economic development by equipping women with the tools and opportunities to succeed in the tech sector.
Codess.cafe's impact also extends beyond India's borders. The programme has reached neighbouring countries such as Nepal, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, forming a global network of empowered women in tech.

Sample this, Garima, who faced displacement due to the Kashmir genocide, now works as a software engineer at Walmart. One Deepali, who, despite financial constraints and societal pressure for early marriage, secured a QA job, achieved financial independence, and supported her family.
