PML SD Business School kicks off PGDM 2026–28 Batch with high-octane orientation ‘Deeksharambh’

PTC News Desk: PML SD Business School officially welcomed its newest cohort of future business leaders for the PGDM 2026–28 batch with a power-packed orientation program, ‘Deeksharambh,’ at its Sector 32-C campus. 


The day was filled with inspiring words from top academicians and real-world insights from industry leaders.

Opening the ceremony, Prof. (Dr.) Kapil Pandla, Director, set an ambitious tone for the two-year journey, emphasizing academic rigor and industry readiness. Building on the institute's legacy, Dr. S. C. Vaidya and Dr. S. K. Sharma, General Secretaries of the GGDSD College Society, encouraged students to cultivate continuous learning and leadership traits.

Delivering the Inaugural Address, Chief Guest Mr. Sanjeev Juneja, Founder of Divisa Herbals Pvt. Ltd., shared his success playbook, urging students to embrace innovation, resilience, and ethics in modern business. 

The second half shifted gears straight to industry realities. Ms. Guneet Sethi (Director – CSR & HRD, Gilard Electronics Pvt. Ltd.) unpacked corporate expectations, highlighting adaptability and job-readiness. Dr. J. S. Saini (Former Professor & Head, NITTTR Chandigarh) delivered an engaging session on turning creative ideas into scalable, self-reliant ventures, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among students.

The day concluded, leaving the new batch energized for the road ahead.
