Both these players now have the record of scoring more than 50 runs in an innings 12 times. Mithali's brilliant knock of 68 runs off 96 balls came at a crucial time when Team India was in trouble.

Yastika Bhatia and Harmanpreet Kaur scored 59 and 57 respectively to take India's total to 277/7 in 50 overs against Australia.
Taking 77 deliveries to reach to her half-century mark, her first in this year's tournament and 63rd in her career, Mithali has equalled a world record.
