Punjab tally rises to 39 after Mohali reports a fresh case of coronavirus

Punjab tally increased to 39 after Mohali reported a fresh case of coronavirus on Monday. A 65-year-old man, a resident of Mohali, has tested positive for coronavirus, a civil surgeon reported. According to the information, he had no travel history and therefore, his allies are being traced to find out from whom he got contracted. Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 39. Out of this, one patient has recovered and two have died. Earlier this month, a man in Nawanshahr, Baldev Singh, died to heart attack and later tested positive for coronavirus. Likewise, a man, Harbhajan Singh, a resident of Hoshiarpur, died due to coronavirus on Sunday.

Village in Patiala sealed

The Ramnagar Sainian village of Patiala district has been sealed by the local administration as a precautionary measure. This comes up after a 21-year-old resident of the village, who returned from Nepal, tested positive for coronavirus. He is admitted in Ambala civil hospital. Fortunately, his 14-member family has tested negative. Likewise, the residents have been asked to stay at home only.
