Conversation between Jyoti Malhotra and ISI comes to fore confirming her links with Islamabad
PTC News Desk: A conversation between arrested Haryana YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra and her ISI handler has emerged indicating her former's links with Pakistani agencies.
Malhotra, a resident of Hisar in Haryana and the creator of the YouTube channel 'Travel with Jo', was arrested last week. According to sources, she maintained frequent communication with Ali Hasan, an operative linked to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), which plays a central role in the country's military and terror activities. The two were reportedly in regular contact.
Authorities have now uncovered a WhatsApp exchange between the 33-year-old YouTuber and Hasan. In one message, Malhotra expressed, "Get me married in Pakistan," indicating a possible emotional attachment to Islamabad.
During the investigation, police sources revealed that authorities have identified four bank accounts linked to Malhotra, with one account showing transactions originating from Dubai.
Agencies are currently examining all her accounts to trace the sources of the funds she received.
Malhotra, who has more than 100,000 followers on Instagram, had traveled to Pakistan twice. During her visits, she came into contact with Rahim, an official from the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi, who later introduced her to operatives from Pakistani intelligence.
