Dera Sacha Sauda chief's 40-day controversial parole ends, to be back to jail soon
Sirsa, November 24: The 40-day parole of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is serving sentence in Sadhvi sexual abuse, and Ranjit Singh murder cases, has ended. Now in a day or two, he may be back in jail. Ram Rahim has already stopped online satsang sessions.

Dera chief Gurmeet Singh got parole for 40 days on 15 October. He came out the same day. Thus, the parole period has ended on 23 November. Now it is expected that Gurmeet Ram Rahim will return to jail within a day or two. Sources reveal that as per rules the prisoner gets two extra days to come and go home, so he is expected to return jail anytime. He is serving his sentence in Rohtak's Sunaria Jail.
During the parole period, there were discussions that the command of the throne of the Dera would now be handed over to Honeypreet, the chief disciple. On this, Dera chief clarified his stand and said in the online satsang that he was, is and will remain on the ‘throne’ of the Dera. Along with this, Honeypreet was also given a new name of Ruhani Didi. Not only this, it happened for the first time during the satsang that along with Dera chief's social media account, Honeypreet's social account was also promoted. Honeypreet stayed with Gurmeet Ram Rahim during the parole period.
