Mumbai Police nab man from Rajasthan in Salman Khan threat case

Salman Khan threat case: Mumbai Police, in a joint operation with Rajasthan police, arrested a man who allegedly sent an email to Bollywood film actor Salman Khan in which he threatened to kill him.

According to Ishwar Chand Pareek, station house officer (SHO), Luni police station, Jodhpur, a first information report (FIR) was registered at Mumbai’s Bandra police on March 18 for threatening to kill Salman Khan.

The Mumbai police started an inquiry after finding that the email was sent from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, and transferred the information to the Jodhpur police. The email was purportedly sent by one Dhakadram Bishnoi, a resident of Siyago ki Dhani in Jodhpur, according to further inquiry, and the manhunt for the accused began.

In a joint operation on Sunday, Jodhpur police and Bandra police station's assistant sub-inspector Bajrang Jagtap detained Dhakadram, 21, and took him to Mumbai.

A case under the Arms Act is also registered against the accused Dhakadram.
