PM Modi set to deliver 102nd edition of 'Mann Ki Baat' address
New Delhi, June 18: On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the 102nd edition of his monthly radio program, 'Mann Ki Baat.' The program will be broadcasted at 11 am and has become a significant platform for the Prime Minister to communicate with the citizens of India.
The 100th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' was aired live across the country on April 26, marking a milestone for the program. Subsequently, on April 30, the 100th edition was globally broadcasted, reaching audiences around the world. The program was even live-streamed at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
Since its inception on October 3, 2014, 'Mann Ki Baat' has evolved into a crucial element of the government's citizen-outreach initiative, enabling the Prime Minister to address various social groups, including women, youth, and farmers.
The program has inspired community action and shed light on individuals who have made significant contributions in their respective fields but remained relatively unknown. Through 'Mann Ki Baat,' these individuals have gained recognition, and their stories have served as a source of inspiration for others.

Prime Minister Modi has touched upon a wide range of topics in 'Mann Ki Baat,' encompassing climate change, agriculture, art, culture, and health. Each episode introduces new ideas and information to society, aiming to foster unity and inclusive development across the nation.
'Mann Ki Baat' is broadcasted in 22 Indian languages, 29 dialects, and 11 foreign languages, including French, Chinese, Indonesian, Tibetan, Burmese, Baluchi, Arabic, Pashtu, Persian, Dari, and Swahili. The program reaches a vast audience through over 500 broadcast centers of All India Radio.
A study conducted on the impact of 'Mann Ki Baat' revealed that over 100 crore people have tuned in to the program at least once. The program effectively connects with the people, celebrates grassroots-level changemakers, highlights notable achievements, and inspires individuals to take positive actions.
The telecast of the program was also made available live on Doordarshan in Raj Bhavans across the country, allowing more people to engage with the Prime Minister's address.
Furthermore, on the same day, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the new Parliament building and dedicated it to the nation. Prior to the inauguration, he honored the construction workers with traditional shawls and mementos as a token of appreciation. 'Sarv-dharma' prayers were conducted at the new Parliament building, with priests from various religions reciting traditional verses.
In a symbolic gesture, PM Modi placed the sacred 'Sengol' in the new Lok Sabha chamber, positioned next to the Speaker's chair, following a puja ceremony. The installation of the 'Sengol' carries deep spiritual significance and underscores the values of India's democratic principles within the Parliament.
