PTC News Desk: Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has shared a cryptic post amid rumours of rift with the party.
'Where ignorance is bliss, 'tis folly to be wise,' the Thiruvananthapuram MP shared a famous quote of English poet Thomas Gray on X.

The speculations of rift surfaced when reportedly Thiruvananthapuram MP asked Rahul Gandhi to specify his role in the party. During the discussion, Tharoor also expressed his discontent for being sidelined from the party.
The AICC was upset with Tharoor for straying from the party's position on matters such as the Prime Minister’s visit to the US and his meeting with US President Donald Trump. His recent article praising industrial growth under the LDF government also caused unrest within the party in Kerala.
Tharoor is said to have voiced strong discontent about being removed from his role in the All India Professional Congress, which he had established during his meeting with Rahul. Additionally, he raised concerns about being sidelined in Parliament, where he has been denied opportunities to participate in key debates.
