Notice sent to Sidhu Moosewala for showing cockfight in Bai-Bai song
Moosewala got success with his gangster rap, 'So High'. Ever since his songs have made it to the highest charts everywhere. However, he has also hit the headlines for being on the incorrect side of the law, be it an FIR for promoting violence or hurting the sentiments of the general public.
This time, Sidhu Moosewala’s new song ‘Bai Bai’ shows cockfight and weapons which clearly denotes violence. An anonymous complaint was also filed to the SSP of Mohali regarding the promotion of weapons and violence in the song.
In the complaint, it is mentioned that all such activities are against the principles and regulations ordered by the Supreme Court and such kind of songs need to be banned. Alongside, the Animal Welfare Board of India has sent a notice to Gold Media, the directors (true makers), and the singer. They have been directed to file a written response within 7 days.
Earlier this year also Sidhu Moosewala was booked under various sections of IPC by Punjab police for allegedly promoting violence through his songs and videos.
