President Kovind on four-day visit to Himachal Pradesh
President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday arrived at Shimla on his four-day visit to Himachal Pradesh. He was received at the Annadale helipad by Himachal Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Vipin Singh Parmar and other dignitaries. As per information, Ram Nath Kovind will address a special session of the Himachal Assembly on Friday (September 17), and on Saturday (September 18), he would attend the valedictory ceremony of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service at the National Academy of Audit and Accounts, Shimla, as the chief guest. Apart from all sitting MLAs, former legislators, including former Chief Ministers Shanta Kumar and Prem Kumar Dhumal, have been invited to attend the special session, he added. On September 19, he will leave for Delhi.
