NIA raids on PFI Cadres: Crackdown in Punjab's Ludhiana, UP, Bihar, Goa
New Delhi, April 25: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is carrying out searches at more than a dozen locations in parts of India, including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, in a crackdown against the cadres of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI).

The places being searched include 12 in Bihar, two in Uttar Pradesh, one in Punjab's Ludhiana and one in Goa. The agency is investigating the activities related to the PFI and has arrived at Darbhanga's Urdu Market in Bihar.
Last September, the Union Home Ministry had declared the PFI and its affiliates an 'Unlawful Association'.
