NIA raids Punjabi singer Kanwar Grewal's Mohali residence
Chandigarh, December 19: National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday raided Punjabi singer Kanwar Grewal’s Mohali residence over his alleged links with gangsters. NIA team on Monday morning reached Kanwar Grewal's Mohali house at Taj towers.

So far, NIA has interrogated Afsana Khan, Jenny Johal and Mankirat Aulakh in this connection. The infamous link between Gangsters and Punjabi entertainment industry is being investigated by the NIA. In this regard, there are many big singers of Punjabi industry on NIA's radar. Notably, NIA is also investigating the funding by gangsters in Punjabi songs.
After the murder of Sidhu Moosewala, NIA has questioned many Punjabi singers. Along with this, NIA is also investigating whether gangsters are purchasing songs from singers by investing their money in Punjabi songs. Many such songs have been made in the Punjabi industry, in which gangsters are praised and gangster culture is being glorified.
