Punjab Assembly Winter Session from today
Punjab Vidhan Sabha’s three-day Winter Session, which is going to start today is expected to be a cakewalk for the present Congress government as the opposition parties Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) is already going through its internal political conflicts.
The session will begin with the first sitting on Thursday concluding with obituary references.

On Friday , brief Session comprising of total two sittings will pass few significant bills . The bill includes the Punjab Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance-2018 and a bill to increase a total parole of prisoners with good conduct from 12 weeks to 16 weeks during a calendar year will also be tabled in the Punjab Assembly winter session.
