Punjab Budget Session 2021: The proceedings for the third day of Punjab Vidhan Sabha started on Wednesday.
The question hour is underway during the Budget Session 2021 of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. The session of the house started with a massive outrage by the opposition MLAs who protested over several issues including the Centre’s farm laws 2020.

Punjab Budget 2021 likely to be presented on March 8
The Business Advisory Committee on Tuesday held a meeting under the Chairmanship of Speaker Rana KP Singh.
It has been reported that the committee has decided to present the Budget on March 8 and conclude the session on March 10.

On Day 1, the Punjab Assembly paid tributes to the farmers who died during the ongoing protest against farm laws as several farmers died due to varied reasons, including health issues.
Meanwhile, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) legislative wing had requested the Vidhan Sabha Speaker to allocate two days for an exclusive discussion on emergent issues of farmers and asked the Congress government to announce minimum support price (MSP) for vegetables and fruits.
