Punjab elections: Amritsar ropes in conjoined twins Sohna, Mohna to sensitise voters

Amritsar, January 24: With the Punjab Assembly elections nearing, the authorities are making all efforts to sensitise people to the importance of voting. In one such instance, the Amritsar administration has roped in conjoined twins Sohna and Mohna to exhort people to exercise their right to franchise. Sohna and Mohna, who are conjoined twins, were abandoned by their parents. In June last year, they managed to secure their ‘separate’ voting rights, and they will be casting their vote for the first time in the Punjab Assembly elections scheduled for February 20.
