Punjab: Major bureaucratic reshuffle, 9 IAS, 2 PCS officers shifted

Punjab IAS/PCS transfers: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Punjab Government on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders of 9 IAS officers and two PCS officers.

Punjab IAS/PCS transfers:

IAS officer Tejveer Singh (1994) has been posted as Principal Secretary, Investment Promotion and in addition Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce and in addition Principal Secretary, Information Technology against the vacant posts. IAS Kamal Kishor Yadav, (2007), Director, Treasury, and Accounts and in addition Special Secretary, Expenditure (Deptt. of Finance) and in addition Secretary, Punjab Infrastructure Regulatory Authority (PIRA), has been transferred. His services are placed at the disposal of the Department of Home Affairs, Justice, and Jails for posting as Chief Executive Officer, Punjab Waqf Board, Chandigarh. IAS Sumeet Jarangal (2009), Director General, School Education and in addition Secretary, Punjab School Education Board, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, SAS Nagar in place of Girish Dayalan. IAS Harpreet Singh Sudan (2013) has been posted as Director General, Employment Generation & Training and in addition Additional Mission Director, Ghar-Ghar Rozgar & Karobar Mission and in addition Additional Secretary, Employment Generation & Training and in addition Additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion and in addition Mission Director, Punjab Skill Development Mission against a vacant post. IAS Showkat Ahmad Parray (2013) has been posted as Additional Principal Secretary to the Punjab Chief Minister. PCS Mankanwal Singh Chahal (2016), Sub Divisional Magistrate, Payal, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.
