While many schools have done admission in all the classes except 6 and 9, the schools are in a dilemma as results of class 5 and 8 are yet to be declared by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). Meanwhile, the board has announced a provisional admission in class 6 and 9.
The matter was examined and the same was taken with the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). The board has taken some decision with regard to class 5 examinations as two of the papers could not be conducted amid coronavirus lockdown. It has been decided that the results of class 5 students shall be declared on the basis of the performance of the students in the remaining 3 papers.
However, the formal declaration of the results will take some more time. Meanwhile, it has been decided that the students of class 5 who appeared for the board examination may be admitted to class 6th provisionally.
Likewise, the evaluation of the theory papers of class 8, who have practical examinations pending, might take some more time due to the coronavirus epidemic.
Similarly, the board has decided that the students of class 8 who appeared for the board examinations may be provisionally admitted in class 9. The provision also stated that all the schools may accordingly be advised to admit the students in class 6 and 9.
