SAD legislature wing opposed trust vote, AAP should not spread rumours: Manpreet Singh Ayali
Chandigarh, October 3: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) legislature wing leader Manpreet Singh Ayali on Monday slammed the CM Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government in the state over the Confidence motion in the Assembly session.
Talking about the trust vote which took place on the last day of the Punjab Assembly session, Ayali said that Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) legislature wing always opposed the Confidence motion publicly and that "AAP should refrain from spreading any rumours regarding this."
He further said that there was a dire need for discussion on other important issues. "However, Bhagwant Mann government decided to take the Confidence motion," he added.

He went on to say that the AAP moved the confidence motion through the backdoor. "I attended the Business Advisory Committee meeting, and there was no talk of moving any confidence motion during discussions taken to complete the house agenda," the SAD leader continued.
Speaking on the alleged bribery allegations levelled against the BJP, Ayali stated, "Even though a complaint in this respect was submitted to the state DGP on 14 September, no action has been taken on the issue to date." "The names of those who offered the bribes have not been revealed, nor has there been any arrest in the matter," he said.
