SC agrees to hear plea demanding cancellation of CBSE Term 2 exams in offline mode

CBSE board exams 2022: The Supreme Court on Tuesday agreed to hear a plea seeking the cancellation of offline exams for the CBSE term 2. The plea will be heard by the Justice Khanwilkar bench on Wednesday, February 23. Earlier, the students approached the Supreme Court seeking its intervention against the CBSE board exams 2022 scheduled to be held by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations, National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), and other state boards. The plea seeks an alternative assessment method for the upcoming CBSE board exams 2022. Last year, the CBSE, CISCE, and other state boards had decided to evaluate students on the basis of alternative assessment criteria. The students were evaluated on the basis of internal exams and a formula devised by their respective boards. The term 2 exams are scheduled to be held from April 26.
