Senior Scientist Oration Award for PGI doctor Professor and Immunopathology department head in PGIMER, Dr. Sunil K Arora, has been selected for the Senior Scientist Oration Award by the Indian Immunology Society. Also Read: National film awards presented amid row, many winners stay awayNational film awards presented amid row, many winners stay away The 42nd Annual Conference of the Indian Immunology Society will be at Translational Health Science & Technology Institute (THSTI), Faridabad from November 1 to November 3. During this conference, the award will be presented to Dr. Arora. Dr. Arora did his Ph.D. in immunology from PGI and post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Texas, USA. He researched on an identification of novel vaccine candidates for leishmaniasis. He studied a molecule with very high immunomodulatory potential. Dr. Arora joined PGI as faculty in 1993 and became a professor in 2008. He was elected as the president of the Indian Immunology Society.
