Punjab Weather Update: Punjab is experiencing a significant weather change yet again, witnessing heavy rainfall across various regions since the early hours of the day. This deluge has led to a considerable decrease in temperatures across the state.

According to reports from various media outlets, the Meteorological Department has forecasted widespread rainfall throughout Punjab, excluding western Malwa, on Thursday. Alerts have been issued for 11 districts where intermittent showers have been ongoing since the morning.
As per the Meteorological Department's yellow alert, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Sangrur, Patiala, Mohali, Ludhiana, Phagwara, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, and Ropar are expected to experience continual sporadic rain for the coming hours. Residents in these districts have been advised to remain vigilant. Additionally, wind speeds may reach 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in these areas, as mentioned by the Meteorological Department.
