Patiala, May 16:  Amid several unresolved cases, another "sacrilege" incident has been reported near Karhali Sahib in Punjab's Patiala district. As per reports, torn pages of 'Gutka Sahib' and other articles of Sikh religion were found near Karhali Sahib in Patiala district. SSP, Patiala, Deepak Parikh also reached the spot. It is learnt that 'Gutka Sahib's' torn pages have been handed over to Gurdwara Sri Karhali Sahib. The police have started investigation in the case.  Torn pages of 'Gutka Sahib' found in Punjab's Patiala district  In December last year, angry ‘sangat’ had killed a man after he allegedly attempted to commit sacrilege in the sanctum sanctorum of the Golden Temple in Amritsar. The man, with shorn hair, jumped over the metal fence around the place where ‘parkash’ of Guru Granth Sahib is there. Nearly seven years ago, several cases of sacrilege were reported in Punjab's Faridkot. On October 14, 2015, the police opened fire on those protesting against the desecration of Guru Granth Sahib at Behbal Kotalan and Kotkapura in Faridkot district. Two protesters, Gurjeet Singh and Krishan Bhagwan Singh, were killed.
