Tour of Malaysia: Third Test ends in 4-4 draw
Two goals in the fourth quarter helped visiting Indian women;s hockey team to earn a 4-4 draw against the host Malaysia in the third Test match at Kuala Lumpur on Monday. India lead the series 2-0.
India fielding all reserves faced the best opposition from the thome team in the current series. Malaysians conversion of penalty corners may be a cause of concern for the Indian team management as three of malaysian goals came from penalty corners.
Navneet (two), Navjot and Lalremsiami were the scorers for India.At one stage Malaysia led 4-2.
In fact India started well taking a commanding 2-0 lead in the first half through goals by Navjot Kaur and a penalty stroke conversion by Navneet Kaur.
After a brilliant field goal midway in the first half followed by a penalty corner goal made the score 2-2 at the breather.

After change of ends Malaysia converted two more penalty corners to take the score to 4-2. Stung by the reverses Indian fought back gamely and scored through Navneet Kaur and Lalremsiami to end the day with equal honours. The fourth game will be played on Wednesday.
