In their latest post, they incorporated 'cravings' billboards from Swiggy, Netflix, and themselves to emphasize the importance of safe driving.
The shared image featured a 'Swiggy billboard' tempting viewers with, "Craving a soup? Order now." Subsequently, the 'Netflix' billboard encouraged people to watch their series titled 'Killer Soup' with the tagline, "Craving a Killer soup? Watch now." In response, Delhi Police introduced their own witty billboard, cautioning, "Craving for hospital soup? We hope not. Drive carefully."
The Instagram post, uploaded on January 30, has garnered over 3,000 views and sparked various reactions in the comments section. Users commended the police's clever approach, with one individual stating, "Brilliant," and another asserting, "Delhi Police 100, Swiggy 0."
This initiative follows a previous road safety advisory by Delhi Police, where they discouraged riders from performing stunts on the roads. In a humorous twist, they shared a screenshot of a search query for "How to do a wheelie?" with the search result suggesting, "Did you mean: How to land up in a hospital." The caption emphasized, "Keep the rubber side down and the safety vibes up. Safety is the ultimate accessory for every rider."
