PTC Web Desk: Move over, tech reviewers. A Punjabi farmer has just delivered the most entertaining product comparison of the year, and it involves a cow, a calf and Apple's newest iPhone.

Internet has been flooded lately with reels claiming that buying a cow for around Rs 50,000 makes more financial sense than splurging lakhs on the new iPhone 18 Duo. The logic sounds simple: a cow gives milk and can earn you money, while a phone loses value fast and can crack the moment it slips out of your hand.

But one farmer wasn't buying the argument, quite literally.

In a video that's now doing the rounds online, he steps into his cowshed and calmly dismantles the whole comparison. Standing beside his cow, he asks a simple but savage question: would Rs 3 lakh really get you a cow like this one? Then, pointing at the calf standing nearby, he adds that buyers would need to shell out another Rs 50,000 just for the baby cow.

His final verdict? If you already own cows, go ahead and treat yourself to the iPhone 18 Duo. No guilt needed.

The clip has since taken on a life of its own, with people jumping into the comments to pick sides. One user broke it down with a simple checklist: an iPhone and charger get a cross, while a cow and its calf get a tick. Another user did the math out loud, simply typing "3 lakh 50K" in response.

Someone even ran the actual numbers, pointing out that a cow producing 10 kg of milk daily, sold at Rs 45 per kg, could bring in roughly Rs 13,500 a month or close to Rs 1.62 lakh a year before expenses. A few called the farmer's honesty "real motivation for youngsters" chasing smarter investments.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 18 Duo itself isn't short on bragging rights. It comes with a 7.6-inch folding inner display featuring a nano-texture coating to cut down glare, plus a 5.4-inch outer screen. Under the hood sits Apple's A20 Pro chip, paired with a dual 48MP Fusion camera setup — though it skips the variable-aperture lens found on the standard iPhone 18 Pro. The phone also supports ProMotion up to 120Hz, an Always-On display, Dynamic Island, and USB-C Apple Pencil compatibility. Prices start at around Rs 2,99,900.

Fancy specs aside, Internet seems to have made up its mind — at least for now. Between rising cattle prices and a smartphone that could crack tomorrow, this farmer's cowshed wisdom might just be the smartest investment advice going around.

Whether you're #TeamiPhone or #TeamCow, one thing's certain: this desi comparison has given Internet its funniest financial debate in a while.
