Announcing the sad news, Punjabi actress and singer Himanshi Khurana took to her social media handle to announce break up with Asim.

 In a note, she confessed that they "sacrificed love for different religious beliefs."

"YES, we are not together anymore, All the time we have spent together has been great but our togetherness comes to an end Now. The journey of our relationship was great and we are moving forward in our lives. With due respect to our respective religions, we are sacrificing our love for our different religious beliefs," the note read.

Himanshi Khurana hails from a Sikh family, and Sikhism is her religion. Himanshi Khurana is known for her work as a Punjabi actress, model, and singer. Her career expanded into the Punjabi music and film industry, and she gained widespread recognition for her appearances in music videos and Punjabi films

On the other hand, Asim Riaz hails from Muslim background. Asim gained widespread recognition after participating in the reality show "Bigg Boss 13" in 2019-2020. He is a model and actor by profession and has been involved in various modeling assignments and acting projects
