Tricity: 4 arrested in more than 20 theft cases by Chandigarh Police
In a major breakthrough Chandigarh Police has arrested four notorious persons, one of them surrendered while three other were nabbed by the police. They were involved in recent snatching and theft cases from Chandigarh and nearby places.
One of the accused identified as Ajay Modi had surrendered in the court to save himself from police. After investigation, three others have been arrested by the Chandigarh Police.
Two out of three recently arrested are juvenile, the police said. 10 two wheeler, 1 mobile, two purses were recovered, police added.
There are 29 cases of theft on him and his gang members.
