UK opens new post-study work visa route for Indian students

UK graduate immigration route: The United Kingdom (UK) has opened a new graduate immigration route which is likely yo benefit Indian students. It will allow them to stay longer in Britain after they have finished their studies to look for jobs. The graduate immigration route was launched by UK home secretary Priti Patel. The talented international students who received their degree would be provided opportunity to stay in the UK and work, or look for work, at any skill level for at least two years. The change in regulations is likely to benefit tens of thousands of Indian students, the British high commission stated. It witnessed a 13 percent rise over the previous year and Indians accounted for almost a quarter of all student visas issued by the UK. The graduate route has also been established on India-UK cooperation on migration issues.
