US envoy to UN Nikki Haley hits out at Pakistan for harbouring terrorism
The outgoing United States Ambassador to the United States, Nikki Haley in an interview with the US Magazine, Atlantic, said that the US should not give any financial aid to Pakistan. She further said that the US should not give even a single dollar to Pakistan till it stops sheltering terrorism in its country.

Haley said in the interview, "Giving them over a billion dollars, and they continue to harbour terrorists that turn around and kill our soldiers. That's never okay. We shouldn't even give them a dollar until they correct it. Tell them, 'You have to do these things before we will even start to help you with your military or start to help you on counter terrorism.' It's those types of things that you really want to kind of look at."

She also stated that Pakistan should be given strict guidelines to handle terrorism before handing over any aid to Pakistan.

Earlier in September this year, Pentagon decided to cancel its financial aid of 300 million USD to Pakistan because of the country’s failure to combat terrorism. And in July, the US Congress reduced the security-oriented financial aid to Pakistan.
