Uttarakhand: 11 killed, 4 injured in road accident in Chakrata
Dehradun Chakrata road acccident: At least 11 people were killed and four were left injured in a road accident at Bulhad-Baila road in the Chakrata tehsil of Uttarakhand's Dehradun district on Sunday. The Chakrata sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) rushed to the spot along with local police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF). Local villagers reached the sport and helped for the rescue operation. The accident spot is in a remote area of Tiuni in the Chakrata tehsil, about 170km from the state capital of Dehradun. Meanwhile, a company of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) was also deployed to carry out the rescue efforts. Also, the leader of opposition in Uttarakhand, Pritam Singh, was on his way to the site after receiving news of the accident in Dehradun's Chakrata. -PTC News
