With 507 new cases, Punjab's COVID-19 tally rises to 1,26,737
Coronavirus Update: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 1,26,737 after 507 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state on Friday.
According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department on Friday, the death toll in the state due to COVID-19 has increased to 3,980 after 26 new COVID deaths were reported from the state.
Amritsar reported 6 new deaths while Bathinda reported 1, Ferozepur 2, Gurdaspur 1, Hoshiarpur 2, Jalandhar 3, Ludhiana 5, SAS Nagar 1, Pathankot 1, Ropar 2, and Tarn Taran 2.

According to the latest coronavirus updates, the total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 1,16,165 after 979 new recoveries were reported from the state on Friday.
Ludhiana reported 103 new recoveries, Jalandhar 88, Patiala 40, SAS Nagar 123, Amritsar 119, Gurdaspur 52, Bathinda 103, Hoshiarpur 110, and Pathankot-21.

Likewise, Sangrur reported 14 recoveries, Kapurthala 38, Faridkot 20, Muktsar 22, Fazilka 28, Moga 23, Ropar 34, Fatehgarh Sahib 6, Barnala 7, Tarn Taran 2, SBS Nagar 9, and Mansa 17.
Among the new coronavirus cases in Punjab, Ludhiana reported 68 new cases, Jalandhar 54, Patiala 60, SAS Nagar 42, Amritsar 40, Gurdaspur 25, Bathinda 43, Hoshiarpur 23 and Ferozepur 18.
Similarly, Pathankot reported 37 new cases, Sangrur 11, Kapurthala 11, Faridkot 10, Muktsar 15, Fazilka 7, Moga 8, Ropar 2, Fatehgarh Sahib 8, Barnala 5, Tarn Taran 5, SBS Nagar 8, and Mansa 7.
