'Hamas worse than ISIS': Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu shares picture of barbaric killings

Israel-Hamas conflict: Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed in a post on social media platform X on Wednesday, sharing an image of the terrorist group Hamas's barbaric killings, that Hamas is worse than ISIS.

"Hamas is worse than ISIS," the Israeli Prime Minister stated in the post.

The IDF stated on X, "Only a genocidal terrorist organization is capable of such horrors."

Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has designated the Gaza Division area a closed military zone.

The IDF has reiterated that entering the Gaza Strip is strictly prohibited and that doing so would be a criminal offence as well as a serious security concern. To ensure that the security forces can continue their work, the IDF has asked that the public exercise caution and avoid entering prohibited areas.

According to The Times of Israel, IDF Chief of Staff Lt Gen Herzi Halevi told reservist officers at the Southern Command station in Beersheba that the defence forces are now focusing their efforts on targeting Hamas officials.

"In any area that we know there are Hamas members, Hamas leaders, even if there are restrictions, we strike... accurately and with great power," Halevi was quoted saying by The Times of Israel.

The fight between Israel and Hamas grows more grisly by the day, with thousands of civilians dying on both sides.

As of now, the Israeli death toll has surpassed 1200, while approximately 1,000 Palestinians, including children, have been killed.

Yoav Gallant, Israel's Defense Minister, announced a "complete siege" of the Gaza Strip.

"I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, and no fuel, everything is closed. We are fighting human animals, and we act accordingly," Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated.
