Despite his announcement, Trump later expressed frustration with Israel, telling reporters at the White House that he was “really unhappy” with the country for violating the newly brokered truce.

The UN human rights office said on Tuesday that an airstrike on Iran's Evin prison housing political prisoners is a grave violation of international humanitarian law.
"Evin prison is not a military objective, and targeting it constitutes a grave breach of international humanitarian law," UN human rights spokesperson Thameen Al-Kheetan said.
"France urges Iran to engage without delay in negotiations leading to an agreement that addresses all concerns related to its nuclear and ballistic programs and its destabilizing activities," the French foreign ministry said in a statement.
Qatar's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday summoned Saleh Abadi, the Iranian ambassador to Doha, following Monday's attack on the Al-Udeid base (US airbase) in the country.
