Has government already banned 800 porn sites?

Has government started blocking porn sites? According to sources, government has ordered internet service providers to block over 800 plus pornographic sites. There is a raging debate on social platforms that government has already banned more than 800 sites in India, though there is no order citing ban of porn sites has come to light so far. Internet users of MTNL, BSNL and other private services have claimed that they have not been able to open porn sites due to some problem. Customers of Delhi based Spectranet are also facing lot of hitch in accessing porn sites. Popular sites such as Pornhub and Youporn would not open. It seems like the service provider is blocking sites with terms such as ‘porn’ in its title. According to a Supreme Court order, adults watching porn in the confines of their home is not a crime. Chief Justice HL Dattu has even gone to the extent to say that it violates the Right to Personal Liberty. Chief Justice HL Dattu had said, somebody may come to the court and say look I am above 18 and how can you stop me from watching it within the four walls of my room. It is a violation of Article 21 [right to personal liberty.”
