7th Pay Commission: In good news for lakhs of central government employees, the Union Cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday approved the hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for these employees from 17 to 28 percent. Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the Dearness Allowance (DA) for the Central Government and pensioners employees has been increased from 17 to 28 percent. This will be applicable from July 1, 2021.
