After PV Sindhu, Para-badminton Shuttler Manasi Joshi scripts history, wins Gold medal at BWF World Championships 2019

Recently, Indian Shuttler PV Sindhu made the nation proud, and now another Indian daughter and Para-Badminton Player Manasi Joshi have bagged first-ever Gold medal at BWF World Championships 2019 in India's sporting history. Joshi defeated three-time world Champion Parul Parmar in the SL3 category— in which the player is impaired in one or both lower limbs having a poor walking or running balance. Manasi Joshi defeated Parul by 21-12, 21-7. In 2011, Manasi Joshi met with an accident, in which she was hit by a truck. In an accident, she lost one leg. Likewise, she sustained several injuries and came out with one leg amputated after hours of struggle in operation. Manasi Joshi used a prosthetic leg and never lost her potential and passion. In 2012, she began her career in Para-badminton. Manasi Joshi stepped in the inter-company badminton championship, where she won the Gold medal. Likewise, she got 5th position in Spanish Para-badminton international championship.
