Amit Vij (MLA-Pathankot)
Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Amit Vij is an Indian politician and a member of the Indian National Congress (INC). He was born on November 9, 1977, in Pathankot. His father's name is Anil Vij and his mother's name is Smt. Shashi Vij. Amit Vij is the current MLA of Pathankot. He won the 2017 assembly elections held on April 20 by defeating his nearest opponent, Ashwani Kumar Sharma of the BJP, by a margin of 11170 votes. He also worked with Reliance Industries Limited from 2000 to 2017 and served as a member of the government assurances committee of Punjab Vidhan Sabha from 2017 to 2018.
