Actor Shreyas Talpade suffers heart attack, undergoes angioplasty

Mumbai, December 15: Actor Shreyas Talpade suffered a heart attack after completing shooting for 'Welcome to the Jungle' in Mumbai on Thursday. Reportedly, the 47-year-old actor underwent angioplasty and is currently recuperating at Belle Vue Hospital in Andheri West, Mumbai.

'Welcome to the Jungle' is directed by Ahmed Khan and features a star-studded ensemble cast, including Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sanjay Dutt, and several other prominent actors.

This movie marks the third installment in the successful 'Welcome' franchise, following the previous films that featured notable actors like Feroz Khan, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, and Paresh Rawal. The second film, 'Welcome Back,' released in 2015, starred John Abraham and Shruti Haasan in lead roles, replacing Akshay and Katrina.

Both films were directed by Anees Bazmee. Shreyas Talpade's condition is reported to be stable, and he is currently under medical care.
