However, this time, fans were treated to a delightful surprise as Amitabh Bachchan was accompanied by his grandson, Agastya Nanda during Jalsa 'Meet-and-Greet.
The duo was captured waving and smiling widely, sharing a heartwarming moment with the fans. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Amitabh Bachchan shared their pictures with the caption "T 4856 - Sunoo," referencing 'Sunoh,' a song from Agastya Nanda's debut film, 'The Archies'. Agastya's portrayal of teenager Archie Andrews in the Netflix movie, wherein he endeavors to save a park from demolition, has garnered commendation and praise.
When the trailer for Agastya's debut film was released on social media, Amitabh Bachchan took to his Instagram feed, expressing his support and affection: "Agastya my love, blessings and more... you carry the torch ably ahead."
Recently, a special screening of Zoya Akhtar's Netflix film, 'The Archies', was hosted in Mumbai, drawing various celebrities, including the Bachchans and the Nandas. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who attended the screening, lauded the film, expressing, "Wonderful and huge congratulations to the entire team." Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan reminisced about their shared nostalgia, stating, "It took us back in time. You know we all grew up reading Archies. We were transported back to our youth."
