13 dead, 17 hurt in MP Guna accident; CM announces relief for victims
MP Guna accident: In a tragic incident in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district, a passenger bus collided head-on with a dumper late Wednesday evening, leaving 13 dead. The accident was reported on the Guna-Aaron road. As many as 17 others were injured.
Guna District Collector Tarun Rathi said the injured were immediately taken to nearby hospitals. Their condition s stated to be stable. However, he confirmed the death of 13 persons in the harrowing collision between the bus and the truck.

The intensity of the fire left the bodies beyond recognition, necessitating a DNA test to identify the deceased. The authorities have removed all bodies from the MP Guna accident site as investigations into the cause of the calamity proceed.
According to a senior police officer, at least 30 passengers were aboard the bus during the collision. Only four passengers managed to escape the blaze.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has ordered a thorough investigation into the accident. Expressing deep condolences, he announced financial support of Rs 4 lakh for the families of each deceased victim and Rs 50,000 for every injured individual.
