Army helicopter makes emergency landing in Ropar [VIDEO]

An Army helicopter made an emergency landing in Ban Majra village, located in Chamkaur Sahib Tehsil of Ropar district in Punjab, on Thursday. The reason behind the emergency landing hasn't been disclosed yet. "At times, there are situation when emergency landings are made," he added. Meanwhile, another helicopter has reached the spot. According to the information, the helicopter is said to be a Chetak helicopter of Indian Army. The chopper had taken off from Patiala and made an emergency landing in Ropar after warning of possible technical snag in controls. Soon after the helicopters left, SP Ravi Kumar said that it was part of mock drill exercise. However, there was some repairing done before the take off.
