BSF seize 2 kg Heroin worth Rs 10 crore in Ferozepur
Border Security Force (BSF) jawans on Thursday seized four packets of heroin with an estimated market value of Rs 10 crore from the India-Pakistan border in the Ferozepur sector.

BSF jawans who were on duty at Karma post in ferozepur sector found packets of heroin. According to a BSF official, a special search operation was launched by the BSF after some suspicious movements were seen near the border security fence on Thursday. Each packet weighs 1 kg and the total worth of the four packets is estimated to be Rs 10 crore in the international market, official said

Last year, the Border Security Force has seized nearly 230 kg of heroin along the Indo-Pakistan border. Due to which,the BSF has been directed to maintain extra vigil on the border to thwart the attempts of smugglers. Search operations has also been launched by BSF to foil the attempts of the smugglers.
