All Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) members arrived at the PM residence. The Cabinet meeting on the security situation in Kashmir was commenced at the PM's residence, which has been concluded. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and others were attending the high-level meeting to discuss Kashmir. Now, as Union Cabinet meeting concludes, Amit Shah will speak in Rajya Sabha at 11 am and in Lok Sabha at 12 pm. Also, there were reports, that there will be a decision over Article 35-A and Article 370 ahead of the meeting.

Meanwhile, Section 144 CrPC has been imposed from the midnight of August 5 in Srinagar. Also, security forces have been deployed in Srinagar in view of the imposition of Section 144 CrPC. Also, several senior leaders, including Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah, was restricted under the House Arrest and mobile internet services have been snapped in fast-paced developments after Sunday night.
