Chandigarh: Man killed two sisters with a sharp-edged weapon, arrested
While the nation was celebrating Independence Day 2019 and Raksha Bandhan, two sisters were found dead at their rented house in Sector 22 in Chandigarh on Thursday. As per reports, the sisters were found in the pool with their throats slit. Meanwhile, the deceased has been identified as Manpreet Kaur (26) and Rajwant Kaur (25), who were the residents of Abohar, Punjab. The police have arrested the accused on Friday, who revealed that he was in love with Manpreet, with whom he got break-up. The man has been identified as Kuldeep Singh and has been arrested. 
According to the sources, her parents were trying to contact them on their mobile since morning, but they were not responding. Likewise, the parents approached the relatives, and then one of them reached their residence at Sector 22, he found the house locked. The relative then broke the door and found them dead, with the throats being slit.

The police were informed about the incident and then they rushed to the spot. The police along with the forensic team reached the crime scene and started collecting the blood samples, fingerprints and other evidence for further investigation. Meanwhile, the police have registered the murder case against him.
