Chandigarh reports 23 new cases of coronavirus; tally rises to 823
The total number of coronavirus cases in Chandigarh has increased to 823 after 23 new positive cases of coronavirus were reported from the Union Territory on Friday. With 23 new cases, the active cases have gone up to 275 while 535 COVID patients in the city have been cured and discharged. A total of 4 COVID patients were declared cured on Friday.
Chandigarh has so far reported 13 fatalities. The new cases of coronavirus from Chandigarh include a 35-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy from Sector 42, a 30-year-old man from Sector 24, a 50-year-old man from Sector 22, a 52-year-old man from Manimajra, a 54-year-old woman from Sector 45, a 23-year-old man from Behlana, a 25-year-old man from Sector 48.
Likewise, a 47-year-old man from Sector 45, a 26-year-old woman from Sector 45, a 52-year-old man from Sector 19, a 12-year-old boy from Sector 41.
Three men of age 75, 39, 11 and a woman of age 60 from Sector 30, a 42-year-old woman from Sector 38 West, a 28-year-old man from Sector 28, a 54-year-old man from Sector 43 and two men of age 28 and 25 and two woman of aged 38 and 62 from Sector 19 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
In Mohali, the active cases include 19 new cases have been identified today including 57M Ph 10 Mohali, 50F Mauli Baidwan, 65F Village Sohana, 63M Sunny Enclave Kharar, 39M Dhakoli, 32M, 38M Derabassi, 41F Saidpura, 56F Sec 78 Mohali, 23F Mullanpur, 46M sec 170 Mohali, 38M, 4M, 57F, 63M Mundi Kharar, 35F village Banur, 38M Dhakoli, 35F Park View street Kharar and 24M from Dhakoli.

The patients discharged on Friday include 42M, 58M Kharar, 28F Derabassi, 52M, 52F Kharar, 49M Nayagaon, 63M sec 65 Mohali, 67M, 32M Kharar, 58F Shivalik city Kharar, 34M, 37M sec 80 Mohali, 29M phase 1 Mohali, 6F Kharar, 4M,1M, 3M phase 9 Mohali, 53 M Jawaharpur, 50M, 23F,64F and 34M from Derabassi. The total cases reported in the district so far are 662 including 13 deaths.
